Students of Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) study programme will be conducting field work colleges and survey in the framework of the course. Studios located in the Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN). A total of 39 students from 5 concentrations (Territorial planning, Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Development Management, Urban Planning and Smart City) and accompanied by 6 assistant lecturers and a studio, visited the area:
Sepaku Semoi Watersheed
The watershed serves as a source of raw water to serve the water needs of the capital of Nusantara (IKN) and its surroundings as well as as a flood control site for the remote areas.
Techno House IKN
Techno House is an educational destination regarding the concept owned by IKN about the concept and development of IKN, the city of the future with equipped with advanced technology as the essence of the concept of smart city.
Hunian Pekerja Konstruksi (HPK)
Hunian Pekerja Konstruksi (HPK) is a place provided by the IKN for construction workers who are currently working in IKN, MURP Undip has the opportunity to use the HPK facilities while being in the ICT at the same time as an audience place. The audiences of the IKN Deputy Planning and Construction are represented by the Director of Agriculture (Firyadi), Director of Macro Planning (Agustomi Masik) and Director of Microplanning (Alfaret Sibarani) in the large hall of Hunian Construction Workers (HPK) on May 2, 2024.
Command Center IKN
The site is a smart city monitoring and control service based on big data technology and computer vision that utilizes sensor-based surveillance and monitoring technology, CCTV, and drone as well as the optimization of digital services of the capital of Nusantara. Sumbu Kebangsaan
Sumbu Kebangsaan is the core area of the Central Government (KIPP) of IKN, which is the place where the President of RI will later live in IKN.
Bumi Harapan Village
Bumi Harapan is one of the villages located in the IKN KIPP area and is expected to be an independent village and ready to accept the impact and benefits as IKN is established.
Students from each concentration also conducted surveys separately to several institutions including Agency for Regional Development (Bappeda) Balikpapan City, Agency for Regional Development and Ministry of Public Works and Housing Samarinda, East Kalimantan province, General for Research and Development (Bapelitbang) Penajam Paser North (PPU), Sepaku hospitality office, visits to Binuang village, Bukit Raya village and Wonosari village.
